The major events that affected Mozart was the fact that he spended more money than he made which increased the stress within his family. Mozart 's sudden death at affected his music in general, he was 35 years old when he passed away. The cause of his death is not clear, however, he did have a severe fever and swelling, it is believed he had a kidney failure.

It is believed that the cause of his deafness was syphilis, however, wine bottles also contained lead which could have caused Ludwig to have large amounts of lead in his body, since he did drink a lot.
