2) What should the primary goal of corrections be? To punish because offenders need to punish so hopefully they won’t commit a crime again, but also to rehabilitate so once the convicted offender is released he or she won’t return to prison and they will not commit crime again.

Most headlines states that our prison system is overcrowded and the prisoner are not being rehabilitate.
4) It is suggested that corrections is in shambles, how could we correct this problem? Correction is in shambles, I believe it’s going to take our judges, prosecutors, courts, law enforcement and corrections to come together on better laws and sentencing time in order to get some kind of order and control.
5) How does corrections best serve our system of justice?
Individuals who are dangerous to society and violate the law are punish by our criminal justice system, which are a part of the makeup of our judicial system which is put in place by government to control crime.
Correction best serve our justice system by housing those violent criminal offender who has committed violent crime against the innocent, also by not allowing them back into society to commit more heinous crime. Like evil serial killers, Just to name a few; Ted Bundy, the zodiac killer, Jeffrey
