6.0 Competitor analysis
Since “Play Time” is the first of its kind of services there are limited direct competitors. However, our indirect competitors may include day care centers and kids parks of Hulhumale.
6.1 Day Care
Hulhumale does not have full fledge day care centers, however there is only two day care centers who provided these services with limited capacity. Furthermore, those day cares are not equipped with proper equipment and the facilities. Furthermore, staff are not trained for providing such services and they do not have enough space for accommodating more than 20 kids. They do not provide any edutainment facilities for their customers and neither do they provide any amusement activities for the kids.

6.2 Kids Parks
Hulhumale had three parks and all these parks are free for its entrance as well as the uses of its facilities. But those kids’ parks do not have proper amusement facilities and neither do have any edutainment facilities. Furthermore, development is not even good enough for kids to play around.
Since, Maldives does not have amusement park or family entertainment center most of the stay at home moms and workings mothers as well as kids does not experience fun and the enjoyment of the amusement facilities and influences of spontaneous play and edutainment services for developing kids’ social and mental development.
Therefore, “Play Time” services and its facilities are completely different from kids’ parks and these kids parks are not real competitors for the services provided by the “Play Time”. However, lower income earners may use those as a substitute of amusement services.
