It is true, we all agree that sports is good for an all round development of kids, but are competitive sports good? A recent research as reported by ABC news suggests that as many as 4 in 10 emergency room visits for children between age 5-14 are for sports related injuries. This is a very telling statistics and it needs immediate attention. Not only are the kids getting injured, they are getting stressed and are losing out on their childhood when pushed into competitive sports. Competitive sports can be really bad for children and here are some negative reasons and the answer to why most kids are quitting sports nowadays
