While at cheer, when we go “full out” (a cheer term for executing our whole routine), I have to be very, very confident in my teammates and myself. Doing and telling myself this, motivates me to get through anything. This helps me in the real world, especially at school; when taking quizzes or tests I must quickly remind myself to be confident. Another big lesson I carry with me in my everyday life is to never give up. Sometimes at cheer practices, we have rough and hard times, but it has to finish one way or another. Telling myself and teammates to not give up, pushes us to our full potential. Again while comparing this lesson to my outside life, I do this with people.
