I have very few activities listed in the common application, but if I could only choose to continue to do one, I would choose competitive cheer. All four years of high school I have participated in both sideline and competitive cheerleading and each year I have prefered competitive season. Competitive season is a time where the cheerleaders are considered the athletes, not just students on the sidelines. People come to competitions to watch us perform, you cannot say that during sideline season. If I had to choose only one activity to continue with, it would be , without a doubt, competitive cheer. It is a time where we are recognized and appreciated for what we do.
