Functional Area 13: Professionalism
By keeping everything confidential regarding children and parents. Show stewardship to parents and children. Keeping parents involved with teaching their children the proper ways how to succeed in school and also for kindergarten preparation. Also keeping records accurate about children. I noticed they used portfolios for each child to distinguished their confidential information. It important for co=workers to keep their relationship profession in the work place. Because children watch you on how you interact with each other as well. We have to encourage them to be polite and caring with empathy toward their selves and others.

Making sure every child is ranking at the appropriate level to move kindergarten or need special care. I have experience running a daycare making sure children are safe and welcoming them in with warmth and love also making sure new parents are getting the appropriate information on how to sign up their children. I have some skills on managing a classroom properly. Keeping things confidential about children. I know there are a variety of programs that I will have to choose from. I have learned about the different domains in children experience of learning. Yes, I do have hands on experience with children. Since I have made this my new career adventure. I have learned so much while observing these children that they love to sing, dance, read, and imagine. I love the idea of have puppets, dramatic play, books, etc. all of those are essential to teaching young children. I have used puppets to encourage friendship between their peers. As they imagine to be successful as helpers and leaders in the world I will encourage them to succeed in their goal professionally for kindergarten
