My preeminent goal for the freshman year is to achieve a cumulative grade point average of four point five or higher. The reason being is I want to set a good foundation for the beginning of high school, impress colleges early on and ultimately build up to, hopefully, an accumulative grade point average of five or higher. I can achieve this objective by working diligently in and out of the classroom and studying hard. Consequently, my grades on assessments will be high. In addition, studying feverishly and efficaciously will aid my diligence and ultimately bolster my grade point average. Paying attention in class is another key aspect in attaining and maintaining a high grade point average. If I pay attention, I will learn new material missed
