Competency Assessment

Decent Essays
To demonstrate knowledge from the advance nursing course work as a foundation for theperformance of a culturally competent assessment skills on the mentally challenged patient across the life span. To maintain competency in creating an appropriate and comprehensive treatment plan, differential and final diagnoses, prescribing medication and management of the mental health patient across the life span.
To collaborate with the psychiatrist, clinical social workers and the paraprofessionals team in the treatment process of the psychiatric patient and their return to a comfortable baseline in the community.
