Compassion is sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others. Bob Therman previously said, “Until you have real compassion, you cannot recognize love.” The America that we live in lacks compassion and love. When some people notice a homeless person they cuss them out, or when they see a homeless animal they abuse it. That is animosity of what should be done. A person in my life that displays compassion is my mother, Crystal Simmons. She shows compassion by comforting me when I found out our puppy died, or when my brother falls down.
