During World War 2 Anne frank and her family went to move into an annex, but they did not go alone. They had plenty of company including Mr.& Mrs. Van Daan,Peter, and Mr.Dussel.They were in the Annex because they were Jewish, and World War 2 was not a good time especially for jews.So they went into hiding,to avoid being caught and put into concentration camps. But they could not do this alone they had help by Miep and Mr.kraler.
The definition of courage is “the ability to do something that frightens one.” The person in this story that in my opinion had the most courage was Mr.Frank. I think Mr.Frank had the most courage because he was always the one to stay calm in every situation. Such as when everyone thought they heard someone downstairs. Everyone was freaking out but Mr.frank was the only one to stay calm and go look to see what it was. That’s why I would say Mr.Frank had the most courage out of everyone there.

In this story the person I think who had the most compassion is Mr.Kraler. I believe Mr.kraler had the most compassion because he saw the terrible situation that was happening to these poor people and always tried to bring the best news possible.Just to make them feel a little better about their situation. He had so much compassion he risked his own safety for these people. If he was to get caught by the Nazi’s he [even though he not a jew] would have been sent to a concentration camp. Which is why I believe Mr.kraler had the most
