Comparison's The Ghost Of Spirit Bear

I read the book The Ghost of Spirit Bear and I thought it was pretty good. They had some similarities and some differences. The theme of The Ghost of Spirit Bear was to always learn to forgive. On page 81 of The Ghost of Spirit Bear it says “ Peter wrinkled his forehead with a puzzled look. Why are you doing that! Peter asked. He tried to run you over!” That shows that Cole is learning to forgive and he is forgiving Keith for his actions. The theme of Touching Spirit Bear was to always take responsibility for your actions. On page 7 it says “He denied the break-in of course, and then he beat up the boys who had turned him in.” That shows that he should of taken responsibility for his actions because now he is going to beat up Peter Driscal …show more content…
I will go to the freezer with you!” Also, in the the book Touching Spirit Bear its says on page 233 peter says “This morning just cole and I should go to the pond.” There are also some differences in the two books, one of them is on page 62 of The Ghost of Spirit Bear it says “Saturday Morning, Cole helped his mom carry in potted plants she had bought from the nursery.” That show that Cole now cares about his mom. The differences between the two books is on page 9 of Touching Spirit Bear it states “He hated his parents. His mom acted like a scared barbie, always looking good but never fighting back or standing up to someone” That shows the difference between the two books are that he doesn't care about his mom in the book Touching Spirit Bear but cares about his mom in the book the Ghost of Spirit Bear. I enjoy the book Touching Spirit Bear more than the book the ghost of Spirit Bear because I think there was a lot more action in Touching Spirit. In touching spirit bear he was mauled by a bear, a tree almost hit cole, he beat up Peter, and on page 89 it says “And then the mouse stiffened and quit squirming.” He ate a mouse! He didn't eat a mouse in The Ghost of Spirit

In Touching Spirit Bear, I think Cole Matthews has character traits similar to those of a bear. One similar trait I noticed is how dangerous a bear and Cole can be. At first sight you would think that a bear is the most dangerous and violent creature to inhabit it a forest. It’s the same concept with Cole.…

The novel Popchuck's Ghost is similar to the movie Bunks which is a film that I saw many years ago. It is similar because in both the novel and the movie, there is a haunted cabin. In the novel, Cabin 5 is haunted by Popchuck's Ghost and strange things happen to the people staying in ced cabin. In the movie, the members of the cabin wander into the forest and stumble upon and old, run down cabin. This cabin is supposedly haunted since a child went missing in it many years before.…

Up until the modern world, history has changed by either removing a feature or improving its structure. In the novel, “Orphan Train” by Christina Baker Kline a story is told between a 17-year-old orphan in the modern world and a 91-year-old widow who experienced a long ride in the orphan train back in the early 20th century.
