Two of the most iconic superheroes, born from DC Comics, are Wonder Woman and Superman. Superman first appeared in DC Comics in 1933. Wonder Woman debuted approximately ten years after, in 1941. They both have evolved over time but remain popular to this day. Most people consider the heroes to be unalike; therefore, parallels between them are seldom made. It is often thought that the commonalities they share are merely vague and minimal. This may be due to their obvious difference of gender; nevertheless, one can find many similarities. These similarities are located in their appearance, back story, and super powers.
When it comes to appearance, they look as if they could be related. Both are physically fit, statuesque, have jet black hair, and piercing blue eyes. The two also share the same color-scheme on their superhero uniforms. Wonder Woman wears an impractical strapless one-piece, that looks very similar to a swimsuit.
