The French subjects were also resentful of the monarchy’s extreme spending and heavy taxes, which were not used to relieve the public from starvation and disease. French Revolution was fought by peasants that looted and burned the homes of the tax collector. Stormed the Bastille to secure weapons and gunpowder.

They are different as one was way more chaotic the French revolution fought because they were dying of starvation due to having a corrupt king.
The American Revolution happened in 1765 and 1783 the 13 colonies defended themselves and the french helped but it was hardly any as they were very corrupt.
