2 cities life's compared
Although there are several similarities between Houston and San Antonio cities, there are many obvious differences between them as mention in this essay. Having the experience to live in two different cities gave me different perspectives of each one. In my opinion, San Antonio is way better than Houston for many, many reasons. San Antonio and Houston have many different type of attractions. First off San Antonio owns a river called “river walk”, families and couples go there very often to enjoy the view and the different type of attractions that it has. Personally I’ve been there a couple of times and honestly is such a beautiful place to go to and learn a little more of the war. From the instant one walks in they can already see how much of a difference it was back than in the war times, rather than right now. It’s very heart touching seeing how many people died behind those walls just to save ours, and also seeing in the type of places they were sleeping and also the nursing room it just breaks my heart. The Alamo was founded in the 18th century as a Roman Catholic mission and fortress compound, it was the site of the Battle of the Alamo in 1836. The Alamo is now a museum in the Alamo Plaza Historic District. One of the many beautiful places in Houston is The Houston Zoo. This place is for anyone that likes to walk a lot and enjoys the wild life. One can experience from what an animal eats to everything of their background information. Is a 55-acre zoological park located within Hermann Park in Houston, Texas, United States. The Zoo houses over 6,000 animals as a part of over 900 species that the zoo has to offer, and receives 1.8 million visitors each year and is the tenth most visited zoo in the United …show more content…
San Antonio has one specific transportation that I’ve always wanted to ride but yet haven’t had the chance to do so. The company is called VIA, is basically a bus that takes tourists around and show amusements in San Antonio but is also a great way to use as a transportation. At San Antonio downtown one can also get a quick ride in a horse carriage. It’s a romantic way to take your girlfriend/wife for a ride. In Houston riding the metrorail is a great option if someone want to get to a place faster. Taking a taxi or a public metro takes twice the time a metrorail would take. Nowadays there's a new app for smartphone one can download on their phones called Uber which allows customers to submit a trip request, which the software program then automatically sends to the Uber driver nearest to the customer, alerting the driver to the location of the customer. Uber drivers use their own personal cars as transportations. This is a great transportation for people that doesn’t feel comfortable taking taxis or that don't want to go on the
