Advertising is an important value for companies, companies use different types of advertisements but they all work even though they vary is such big ways such as the colors used or the sizes of items or even what and how they include the product in the advertisement. I’m going to compare 3 different ads that are all advertising the same thing. I’ll explain how they are similar and different and what they use to get people’s attention. These advertisements use the best ways of advertising you can.
All three ads have similarities and differences, the first add by Pepsi has a lady in an older looking blue dress with blue hair that looks like a queen or type of royalty. In the picture she is drinking a Pepsi and in a big white fancy font it says “Pepsi for all”. In the second ad by

She looks like she belongs to royalty such as a queen or princess of some sort. I feel they use this to show that everyone drinks it no matter how high class they are and that maybe if you drink it you will be on the same level as her. In the mountain dew ad they use a famous basketball player. They expect you to have previous knowledge of basketball so your aware of who he is. They use a famous player like this to try and convince you that you can be as good as him in basketball by drinking the product. The third ad however does use anyone but still gets its point across. The third ad by mountain dew uses something that the other two do not, it uses a hashtag in its ad. I think the reason they use this is because when people see it they will make a post with the hashtag and it gives mountain dew free advertising. The hashtag stands out quit well. After your eyes look directly at the mountain dew bottle the hashtag is the second thing your eye is drawn

Although it might be hard to see at first, these two POM Wonderful advertisements are actually fairly similar. These two different advertisements actually use some of the same strategies to attract the reader's attention and get the consumer interested in their product even though they are of a different medium. The first advertisement uses a printed image that shows simple colors and a strong message to encourage people to buy their product because it gives them antioxidants; however, the second advertisement uses a powerful dragon made out of their “crazy healthy” juice to create the illusion that the juice is as powerful as a dragon, yet the advertisement still sends the same message and same audience but uses a different strategy.
