The TV series Game of Thrones, adapted from the fantasy novel A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin, has been acclaimed by critics for its story telling, acing, scoping and especially its complex characters. The series has received 38 Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series in 2015 and 2016, more than any other primetime scripted television series. She has an older brother- Robb Stark, two younger brothers -Bran and Rickon, a younger sister- Arya and a “bastard half- brother”- Jon Snow. Nowadays, people found that birth order may have a significant effect on intelligence, personality and psychological development. Moreover, birth order is intricately linked to family size. (Joshua K. Hartshorne, 2010) Since the house of Stark is a big family with 5 children, Sansa is not the smartest one or the dumbest one. It is certain that her older brother, Robb Stark, was the most intelligence child in the family. In season 2 and season 3, Robb had lead an army going south for avenge his father’s death. He never lost a battle during the expedition, even when Lannister hold three times more soldiers than him. Sadly, he died because of a betrayal. Speaking of Sansa, who seems stupid somehow during her time in King’s Landing, she grew and learned a lot facing those terrible things happened on her. Finally, her intelligence showed out when she escaped from King’s Landing. She went to the Vale seeking for protection from her Aunt Lysa. Lysa, enraged over Petyr's interest in Sansa, threatens to have her killed. Petyr tells Lysa that he only ever loved Catelyn and pushed her to her death. After that, she gave out a testimony before the lords of the Vale which mixed up with truth and lies for protecting Petyr Baelish. Sansa breaks down in tears and the lords of the Vale are convinced. She is finally showing her intelligence and ruthlessness in playing the Game of Thrones.
