The cold war between President Truman and General MacArthur started during Korean War. In the beginning of the war, General MacArthur had strategic plans to support South Korea from the North Korea. North Korea was in support of communism and they were trying to spread communism all over Korea. MacArthur tried to defeat the communist forces.
