In the novel Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury there society is much different than our society today. First off, some things from our society. We have women who work to pay their bills and for food. We read books, write books, share books, books are not illegal. Also, our society is a utopia compared to Guys society. We have all the amendments, which protect our right. Our firefighters put out fires and help people get out of of houses that burn down. This is the society of our people. Next, Guy’s society, which is much different than our’s, has a no book policy. “The woman on the porch reached out with contempt to them all, and struck the kitchen match against the railing.” (pg 36).
