Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are the cream of the crop when considering quarterbacks in the NFL. They are two of the most coveted athletes in the history of American sports. The two greats are slated to make the hall of fame without a doubt. Tom Brady was selected number 199 in the 2000 draft, Peyton was selected on the other end of the spectrum at number one in the 1998 NFL draft. They are very similar in size, but they play the game differently. Tom Brady is the king of the post-season while Manning holds many of the regular season records. They both have had outstanding careers, but there can only be one king in the National Football League. Physically, they are just about the same person. Peyton is 6 foot 5 inches, while Brady is just and inch shorter. Manning is 230 pounds while Brady is just five pounds lighter. Coming into the league Peyton ran a 40 yard dash in 4.8 seconds while Brady ran it with tortoise speed in 5.28 seconds.
During the regular season Manning dominates. Tom is an outstanding quarterback but Manning has the edge over him from week one to week 17. They went back to back with the record of most touchdown passes thrown in a season from year to year, but in 2013 Manning made it a no contest, throwing 55 touchdowns in a single season. Manning has played three more years with at least 15 games

Brady has won the Lombardi trophy (Super Bowl trophy) four times more than Manning has. Brady has been to six Super Bowls and has won four of them. Peyton Manning has been to three Super Bowls and could only manage a single win. Tom Brady dominates in the playoffs when you compare the two QBs.
