Comparison Of Kayla And Skylar's Cry

It was just a normal day for Kayla and Skyler, the two friends in the village. The village looked old and full of peasants working for there freedom to be let out and not work anymore. The year had just turned 1395 and it was time for Kayla and Skylar to work because of their age. The two friends thought that working at age fourteen was going to be hard and it was mandatory to become a lumberjack, farmer, and laundry or nursery helper. Kayla and Skylar are young, intelligent peasant girls who work hard at everything, they thought that there society is unfair because of the rules in the village.

At age 12 all people had to tell Mr. Tatum, the ruler of the village what they wanted for a future job. Kayla said that she wanted to be a farmer and Skylar wanted to be a lumberjack. Today was the day for all children

Kayla and Skylar both looked anxious waiting for their employment positions.

“Kayla Scott please come to the stand” said Mr. Tatum “ you are given the job of farmer.” Kayla’s jaw dropped and started to smile with relief. “ Skylar Rose please come forward to the stand” Skylar was walking slowly because she didn’t know what to expect “ you are given the job of lumberjack.” Skylar smiled and ran to Kayla with excitement and then proudly walked away with their schedule in there hands.

The first day of work had arrived. Kayla and Skylar had both been ready before the sun had set at 5:45. You can already tell by the friends facial expression that they were amazed by what they are going to be able to do, they might of thought wrong about the villages society, maybe it was fair after they realized what it can bring.
“Hi Kayla I’m Alicia, I will be with you working as a farmer, follow me to the work area.” Kayla smiled and walked away from Skylar.

“Hello there Skylar I am Braxton, I will be working with you with the job of lumberjack. Follow me this way to the trees.” Skylar followed will
