Next would come Christianity which was born out of the Judaism religion for even its founder, Jesus of Nazareth, was a part of. The Christian holy book is called the Bible which contains the Jewish Torah in its first half called the “Old Testament,” which in part works as a history lesson for the Christian but there are still points in there that stay relevant to the beliefs of the faith today, and it contain the teachings of Jesus and his disciples in the second half of the Bible called the “New Testament”. The Muslim Holy book is called the Qur’an which contains the account of the Holy Revelations that Muhammad receive when the Angel Gabriel came to him to give him God’s word and is meant to be something one recites. There is also another important book in the Islamic faith which is the Hadith which contains the record of the words and/or actions of Muhammad and those close to him but this is not a book regarded as the word of God as Muslims believe Muhammad to just be a great prophet who is not of divine origins. However, Christians believe that one day that the bodies of believers will join them in the after life once the end of the world happens when Jesus returns. Muslims do believe that Jesus would return to Earth, as they believe that he did not die but rather God took him with his body to be with him, and that he would return at the end of the world but that circumstances behind it differ. However, in contrast, the Jewish people don’t believe that Jesus will return because he is a regular man and their faith doesn’t concentrate on the afterlife as much as its sister religions; the topic is vaguely mentioned in the Torah and there isn’t much of a standard belief as to what will happen when one dies. There are also different rituals and centers of faith in each religion that makes them unique such as the five pillars of Islam, circumcision and the Sabbath for

The first and main similarity would be the belief in one God, although they each refer to Him with different names, He is still the one God of Abraham. Each religion recognizes many of the same prophets including the first prophet named Adam. Both religions recognized the Jews as God’s chosen people and gave the land of Israel to the Jews.…

The three Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam ¬¬¬– all have one thing in common, the nature of monotheism. Judaism innovated the idea of one God about 3000 years ago, with the Israelites. Though it was restricted to the people of Israel, this was the first time a monotheistic religion came into play. Worshipping the same God of Israel, Christians were the second monotheistic believers. The teachings of Jesus Christ of Nazareth were next to become revolutionary.…

I believe that the three religions should be grouped together as each seems to branch off from the previous religion. Judaism is the oldest of the three and provides a good foundation for the other two. Christianity came second as a branch of Judaism. There are talks of Jesus and Abraham in the Islam religion showing that it is also a branch off of Judaism, however it isn’t tied into Christianity as much. Each of the three religions are monotheistic, they each worship a single god, the same god so it seems.…
