Comparison Of Jon Bon Jovi And Comeback Kid

Decent Essays
Other comparisons outside the country genre and only comparisons in a very small way would be Jon Bon Jovi, a slightly similar voice but then again at the same time I would say Kips is unique, trying not to be contradicting as I personally feel Kips voice is much stronger and well..manly but they both have that raspy, gravelly tone that suits rock music so well.

The general flow of this album is spot on and nothing is out of place, a perfect start, middle and end with every song being musically and lyrically fantastic and Comeback Kid being the perfect finish with it being more of a ballad. The songs are definitely not lazy and by that I mean its obvious Kip and his team, whether they be writers, producers band members etc, have all worked

S.E. Hinton wrote The Outsiders and introduced many unique characters. Each individual had their own situation, problems, and struggles which shaped them into the people they were. Two members of the gang, Dallas Winston and Johnny Cade, are different from what they seemed in the first half of the book. Dally was known as a hardened thug, but deep down, he cared about others. Johnny Cade was a boy who seemed meek, but was actually one of the strongest characters mentioned in the story.…

The first act primarily gave a background on how those townsfolk settled on Oklahoma Territory. It also illustrated Curly’s pursuit of Laurey, and Ado Annie’s love triangle. The second act was the true execution of everybody’s motives. Curly defeats Jud and wins Laurey over and Will Parker finally earns back $50 to take Ado Annie as his wife. I think the rhythm was smooth and cohesive.…

Similarly to Stagecoach (Ford, 1939), Yojimbo (Kurosawa, 1961) also features the lone entrance of its main protagonist, Kuwabatake Sanjuro. However, unlike in Stagecoach (Ford, 1939), which features the Ringo Kid’s rather abrupt entrance well into the film, Yojimbo (Kurosawa, 1961) starts right off the bat with its main protagonist. The opening shots of Yojimbo (Kurosawa, 1961) also begin with a closeup of the back of Sanjuro, as he walks down the path to the town. This initial scene already sets up a somewhat mysterious air about the main character, as the audience initially knows nothing about him. While the Ringo Kid had already formed a plan from the very beginning to avenge his father and brother, Sanjuro’s motives are initially unclear to the audience.…

This song would be a wonderful choice for a soundtrack of the book Anthem seeing that it displays the theme of individuality. After having discovered electricity, Equality decided to show his invention to the World Council of Scholars, so that he could get recognized, and that he could help his brothers with his invention. Equality is straying way off of the path of the crowd. Which is where the rest of society is. When reading the lyrics of “It’s My Life” by Bon Jovi.…

In the song “ADHD” he states “We never do listen unless it comes with an 808, a melody , and some soul.” He refrence music to be the main source of helping people connect and relate to each other. Another reason why this album is labeled one of the greatest projects because Kendrick went with what was on his heart during the time making it. The song “Ronald Reagan Era” is a great example of freedom of speech and courage to speak on what’s going on around you. The track speaks on Compton gang violence, the millennials born in the 80’s era best known as “The Ronald Reagan Era” doing outrageous things to survive in the city of Compton.…

My over all review on this album out of 10 is an 8.5. Reason being, most of his songs people can relate back to. And are pretty catchy. The only thing I disliked about the album is that it has a lot of the same beat in the majority of the album, and it gets unexciting. It’s a lot of drums, guitar.…
