The Walt Disney Parks and Resorts announced plans for their Star Wars themed areas inside of Disneyland in California and Disney Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida. Though not many details are released about the expansions, two attractions were officially announced in August 2015. One of the attractions announced by Disney are based on the Millennium Falcon from the earlier films. This announcement is exciting for movie fans because it brings the Star Wars movie to life, much like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter within the Universal Parks & Resorts.
