“Regardless of who wins, an election should be a time for optimism and fresh opportunities.” That is what Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson said about the 2016 presidential election. Everybody knows about Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton battling for the White House, but what a lot of people don’t know, is that there are also two other candidates running for president. Those people are Gary Johnson and Jill Stein. Gary Johnson is the libertarian candidate, and Jill Stein is the Green Party candidate. Both of them have very different views about the different issues. Stein is definitely more liberal than Johnson, but they both have the same goal, to beat Clinton and Trump and become President.
