Comparison between Connective Tissue and Epithelial Tissue
Similarities:
There are many similarities between connective and epithelial tissues. One of which is that both the connective and epithelial tissues have at least 2 layers.
A similarity between the connective and epithelial tissues related to the organelles present and its functions is that they both have nucleus and mitochondria, so both need the production of energy to function and both contain genetic material. Also both the epithelial and connective tissues contain proteins which without they would be unstable and unable to function as they do.

One of which is that the sizing (magnification) of each of the tissues vary. The magnification of the muscle tissue is much higher (25,000) than the magnification of the nervous tissue (21,000). Another difference in structure is that the nervous tissue has hardly any layers where as muscle tissue is made up of layers.
A difference between the muscle and nervous tissues related to the organelle present and its function is that the proteins which are in the nucleus of the tissues are different and have different functions. In the muscle tissue the proteins, actin and myosin are required for muscle contraction. However in the nervous tissue to maintain the ‘resting potential’ carrier proteins are needed.
The difference between the function and location of the muscle and nervous tissues is that the function of the muscle tissue has the function of movement of tissues and the skeleton and the contraction and relaxation of tissues. Whereas the function of the nervous tissue is for sending, receiving inputted information. The muscle and nervous tissue are not found in the same places as they both have different functions. Muscle tissues are found in heart, surround the bone and organs, however nervous tissue are found in the spinal cord and the central nervous system
