The feudalism pyramid descends from Pope to serfs. The Pope is the leader who delivers the message from God to the people. The king gives land to the lords and the knights, who swear loyalty to the king in exchange for this land. The serfs work these lands, providing food and receiving protection for their service ,from the knights. The school district’s chain of command ranks from superintendent to student. The school board gives the message from the state board to the school. The superintendent then assigns schools to principals and vice principals. The upper class is most important and is made up of the Pope and the kings. They stand above everyone and give orders. The school board and the superintendent tell the schools what to uphold. When someone has a problem they have to talk to either of these supreme representatives. The knights and the lords are the middle class, who serve and protect the land to please the king. The principals and the teachers help the school by enforcing laws and helping students. The serfs make up the lower class. They respect everyone above them and try their best to make a good harvest for the knights and lords. The students have to learn to listen to everyone above them because it is respectful.
