Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton…..Who is the best candidate for President?
The 2016 presidential campaign is in full swing. We have many candidates that feel they would be better fit at becoming President of the United States than the next. I have chosen two candidates that stood out to me on their differing views. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton differ on many issues, some of the views that they differ on are same sex marriage, education, and abortion.
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton differ when it comes to abortion. Donald Trump is totally against abortion. While I was conducting my research I found that there are many types of abortions. Many people may not know that a miscarriage is called a spontaneous abortion because it happens solely

Donald Trump is against same sex marriage. He ultimately blames presidential candidate Jeb Bush for the decision to allow same sex marriage, he blames Jeb Bush, solely on the fact that his brother George that appointed Chief Justice John Roberts into office. Awkwardly enough, Donald Trump “blames Jeb for the decision” and Chief Justice John Roberts voted against same sex marriage. ( Hightower …show more content…
When the ruling was passed to give same sex couples the right to marry, she was one of the candidates that was ecstatic with the ruling. “She stated she was celebrating today’s landmark victory for marriage equality, and the generations of advocates and activists who fought to make it possible” (Respond to Supreme Court Ruling). Same -sex marriage is taking the world by storm, the ruling that allows same sex couples to get married is a controversial topic. This ruling comes at a time when everyone feels the need to be popular. In order to win the majority of votes candidates feel that they must succumb to the pressures to do what is popular instead of morally right. In the bible God clearly states that he made a help meet for man,: “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him”. (Genesis 2:18) that help meet was Eve. The bible talks about homosexuality as a sin, “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed and abomination: they shall surely be put to death ;their blood shall be upon them” (Leviticus 20:13) so therefore it is morally and ethically wrong in Gods eyes. I know that we must obey the laws of the land, but what about Gods law; it does still count for something. The more I read and research my two candidates, Donald Trump is looking more like the better choice for my presidential

Hodges, the court heard a case in which the plaintiffs argued that a ban on same sex marriage violated certain provisions of the 14th Amendment. The plaintiffs specifically argued that the ban violated the concept of protection of liberty. Although it was a 5-4 decision in the Supreme Court, the majority opinion stated that the 14th Amendment was being violated. The dissenting opinion on the other hand, focussed on several ideas.…

I believe Hilary Clinton won the final presidential debate. Clinton’s performance was more persuasive than Trump’s because she spoke with sophistication and intelligences. This country can go in two directions. The first way is up, with Clintons ideas and views I believe our country can become great and everything from trade to economy can thrive. The second way is down, with Trumps and his ideas to build a wall to keep immigrants out and his lack of commence sense and human decency.…

Honestly trump isn't that bad, he can't start a war in the next 4 years (hopefully), every law and bill he can make has to go through the supreme court, and he cannot change the amendments. So he doesn't really have that much power. So my three issues for trump are wars, taxes, and the wall.…

On June 26, 2015, LBGT+ activist groups rejoiced as the United States Supreme Court ruled in favor of legalizing same-sex marriage believing that a ban of it violated the 14th amendment of the Constitution. This didn’t help stop any hatred of same-sex couples and it seemed that the world would implode due to the court’s decision However, backlash soon followed, leading to an Appeals court, saying it didn’t violate the 14th amendment and many “Christian” groups saying the ruling by the Supreme Court goes against the bible. In the case of Obergefell vs. Hodges, the ruling has influenced the United States to take steps in a more progressive future where everyone has equal rights and helping America begin its transition into a more positive light with supporting this decision. Much of the backlash from this decision was due to these different “Christian” activist groups who said that same-sex marriage went against their religious liberties and violated the bible in Leviticus. Which is quite hilarious as none of them probably adhere to the teaching in the book of Leviticus like no eating shellfish and no mixing different materials to wear like a cotton, polyester blend…
