Comparison Of Bull Vs. Pit Bull Terrier

I have always been fascinated by dogs all my life. Although, I have never owned one, if I had the choice it would be a Bull Terrier or it cousin the Pit Bull. They are from the same family of dogs with similar body types but different in everything else. In recent TV and newspaper reports, my choice would be easy. The Bull Terrier and the Pit Bull are different in looks, breeds, and personalities. The first difference between the dogs is their looks. The Bull Terrier has a strong built, muscular frame. The body is well rounded with a short, strong back. The head is long and strong, oval-looking in shape like an egg, and the top is almost flat. They are 24 to 48 inches in height and can weigh between 45 and 80 pounds. Its hair is thick, short, flat and tough. The Pit Bull is extremely strong with a muscular, stocky frame and a well-defined neck. The head is brick like, big and round similar to that of a bull dog.
