In America today, about ninety percent of the population seem to be walking around with a miniature computer in their pocket. Everyone ranging from toddler to elderly are constantly looking down at the screen in his or her hands. Over the years cell phones have evolved dramatically from basically to the size of a brick to the size of a person’s pocket. The main two competitors in the cell phone industry are Samsung and Apple Inc. Every year the two companies are almost always battling each other to put out something better than the other. Here are the differences and some of the similarities between the Galaxy seven and the iPhone seven.

The physical display features of the Samsung Galaxy seven phones are the body of the phone, the colors, the size of the screens and more. The back of the Galaxy phone has glass just like the front of the phone does. The size of the screens vary from a five inch screen to a six inch screen depending on which phone the consumer buys. “Samsung improved the Galaxy S7’s 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display by making it a bit brighter”(Ion). Colors of the phone are black onyx, silver titanium, platinum gold and blue coral for the note seven only. Next to the home button there are two extra buttons on either side which are the back button and the recent button.

The two still have some of the same functions like a power button, the volume button and a home screen button.
