I really don't think we need to worry too much about Tad. I think CC's actually become a bit of a sap (I mean, just look at the end of IWTB, with that slow motion kiss and Home Again blasting away). I just don't see him going in this direction.

However, whatever happens in the first episode, I don't think there will be much narrative exposition about Mulder and Scully. So if Scully did indeed date Tad, I suspect we'll never get the full story. Same with Mulder's "dark place." I bet that they will gloss over a lot and Sveta's story will take center
