When talking about the Kingdom of God, one might imagine white, pearly gates on top of puffy and pasty clouds, guarded by St. Peter himself as he searches for your name off a list. Images of Heaven, a floating city of immense beauty in the sky, are usually conjured up during any discussion of the Kingdom of God. There is very little consensus as to what the Kingdom of God signifies to each and every Christian. To some, it is associated with the extension of God here on Earth, through the Holy Church.
