Comparison Between 'Katniss And Peeta'

This book that I have read had a great story with an amazing plot. The ending of the story was pretty sad but to me it was kind of unfinished, because of the story continuing in the third book. I would change the ending to something that would make more sense. This story ends at where Katniss is already saved by Finnick and they are at the hospital discussing about rebellion. After telling Katniss that Peeta was not saved and how the Capitol bombed and destroyed her home district she loses control and becomes even more depressed. The new ending that I would create will be that before the games begun where Katniss and Peeta would have to fight against each other, both would be aware of their escape plan from the game so they would know to think

I believe that the author missed an opportunity to explore other directions for the ending. For instance, the ending could have focused on further developing Winger and Annie’s relationship. Furthermore, it could have been used as a chance to show how Joey and Winger will continue to be friends even after Joey leaves the school (if he was still alive). I overall enjoyed the rest of the book, but the ending leaves much to be…

I just could leave the story there, it made me want to go out and buy the next point. To the point where I read the wiki page to find out the backstory it was that good. This is because it entices you with a wonderful plot filled with secrets that can only be revealed by reading on (or in my case going on wiki to find the backstory and accidently coming across it). This is very clever and is a great way to, like I said before, make the reader keep wanting more. This book also tackles real problems like having to protect your family and friends, and also you getting to choose your own path in life.…

In the Hunger Games, the most important similarities the movie shared with the book was making Peeta initiate the idea of him and Katniss being lovers. This is so significant because, without this, most of the main events in the book and movie would never have taken place. For one, this angle would have left Katniss to be just another face in the crowd, not making her stand out, which also meant fewer sponsors, decreasing her chances of survival. However, the most important reason for this is because Katniss would have left Peeta to die when he needed her the most and she would not have been able to plant the small seeds of defiance against the capital. In the movie and novel, the games take a surprising turn when an announcement goes out that…

Katniss is thrown unwillingly into the spotlight and made a celebrity for The Hunger Games. She is wracked with nerves for every interview and appearance she has to make in the lead up to the sadistic reality show but she puts on a smile and fights through it. Katniss is described by her mentor Haymitch as “sullen and hostile”. Throughout the games, Katniss has the internal struggle of choosing between two things, her allies and friends she makes during the games or survival, which means getting back home to her sister Prim and her best friend Gale. At one point, Katniss even attempts to sacrifice herself and a friend in an act of rebellion against the cruel, vindictive President Snow that has supressed, starved and tortured the districts for 74 years.…
