Unfer ,who was Hrothgar’s assistant, did not take a liking to Beowulf when Beowulf arrived to the kingdom. When Beowulf told his tales, Unfer found it hard to believe his stories as if they were fake. Unfer would test Beowulf with his nerves. Unfer became fed up with Beowulf’s bragging.
