Compare and Contrast Essay Today, there are two different ways that you can write an essay. The first option is on paper. Most people utilize paper every day. You can write down phone numbers, make notes, write important notes or write an essay. But the second way you don't even have to use paper and you can still in an accelerated, organized, fashion. That way is a computer. Once you become comfortable to typing on a laptop you can write a neat, clean essay in a day. On the other hand, paper might be able to offer some skills that a laptop could never provide. I am going to compare, and contrast writing on paper, and typing on a laptop. First up is paper. When writing on a laptop the it doesn't require a lot of concentration. The program creates the shape of the letters for you, freeing up some room for you to concentrate more on your essay. It allows clearer focus and faster work. It is extremely good practice for you to type without looking at your keys. Writing on a computer can also be a lot more fun then paper writing. It can get kids interested in writing and allow them to write more essays. Writing on a laptop is way easier to edit than a paper. If you need to make some major changes on your essay then you'd have to rewrite the whole paper by hand. Where as with a laptop you can do a few backspaces and add a few more word in with no trouble at all. Also, laptops use digital information which allows a single person to potentially save hundreds of pieces of paper. Nevertheless, writing on laptops do have their downsides. Study's have shown that when you write something down that you're able to retain that information in your memory better. That could potentially help, when writing on paper, in creating a more thought out, organized essay that a laptop would not be able to provide. A big problem is that computer need power in order to work. If the power goes out then you would not be able to work on your essay at all. Not to mention if your laptop get permanently ruined then you could lose all the work on your
