Comparing White Zombie And The Walking Dead

The idea of zombies has been around for longer than you would think. The original idea of zombies came from Haitian Voodoo. The Haitian Priests wanted to resurrect the dead by using dark magic. When a person annoys his or her community too much, they hire a priest to zombify him or her. The priest would make him drink a deadly poison from the porcupine fish. The person who drank the poison heart rate would slow almost to a stop, he would breathless and his body temperature would dramatically drop. The townsfolk thinking he was dead, would bury him. Then, as we know, would rise from his grave, brain wiped and under control of the priest who made him a zombie until the priest died. Zombies became very popular in the 1930’s. The zombies in “White Zombie” are slow and pretty weak so it would be fairly easy today to survive those type of zombies. Back when it was made, it might be harder. The zombies from the show “The Walking Dead” which I really like they walk at a normal speed, the can’t smell, they have good hearing and are kinda strong alone. The zombies from “World War Z” are a totally different story. They are extremely fast because they run, really strong and have an amazing sense of hearing and smell.
