The three shows that will leave you on the edge of your seat, biting your lip, and wondering what will happen next are are The walking Dead, Empire, and Breaking Bad. The
Walking Dead is my all time most favorite show of all time, simply because it is interesting and you never know what's going to happen next. The Breaking bad is different, to see a broke chemistry teacher become a drug kingpin with upward of 100 million dollars in savings is a story that nobody should miss. Empire is in a whole different category. Empire is a show with drama, suspense, great music, family problems, money obsession, God complexes, and power hungry musicians. I will explain the greatest aspects of all these shows.

This last show is one that I just started recently and binge watched is one that is loved by almost all of the country at the moment. The Empire. There are so many aspects of this show that keep me watching that it was difficult to pick just 3. Empire is strong on Character development, Music, and drama. Character development plays a large and vital role in this show, the greatest example is Jamal Lyon. Jamal is homosexual, which doesn't sit well with his father, who literally threw him away as a child. In the start of the show Jamal Lyon was against his father because he felt as though his father never loved him and didn’t give him the respect that he believed he so deserved as a performer. Over the course of the show so far, Jamal has evolved from a mama’s boy who wanted nothing to do with his father, to his father's portege and disgusted with his mother cookie. The music is on a whole different level. The music in Empire is fantastic, from rap song “Drip Drop”, to the pop song “You're so beautiful”. I have them both on my phone. The music you hear will make you forget that these musicians are all fake

Game of Thrones, Grey’s Anatomy and Pretty Little Liars are only few of the countless hit television shows popularized as a result of their adept ability to play on the emotions of their audience. Amongst this group stands Judd Apatow’s, Freaks and Geeks, as media techniques such as camera shots, conflict and editing are expertly employed in order to evoke emotions in viewers, consequently engaging the audience as they form emotional connections with the characters.
