1. In act 2 these Romeo and Juliet have fallen in love after only knowing one another for a few hours. They both barely know anything about each other and frankly, i find it a little scary yet romantic at the time. They have fallen in love With a few words exchanged and then plan to get married to one another without telling their parents. I mean they are at the age of making but at the same time, they have two other adults, the friar, and the nurse, helping them along with this.

2. The love and trust these two have for each other are remarkable. I guess you could say it's like a little kid and a puppy. A kid could see a puppy for the first time and fall in love with it before finding out its name. The puppy would be glad to play with the child and have a friend. After an hour of meeting the child could adopt the puppy and live with it forever. When Romeo and Juliet get married it is kind of the same as if a couple were to run away and get married in Vegas. They both want to get married now without a bunch of people being there.

In this saying, Romeo was just in love with a girl named Roseline. Now in a matter of hours, she means nothing to him and now he wants to marry a girl he met not too long ago. Now he wants the Friar to marry him and some other random girl. “The bud of love, By summer's ripening breath.” (II. 1. 121

Romeo is known for his intense, heartfelt speeches towards the people he loves. Immediately when he loses Rosaline, he mourns openly over her. He says, “Being purged, a fire sparkling in lovers’ eyes; / Being vexed, a sea nourished with lovers’ tears” (Shakespeare 1.1.203-204). He makes an illusion of Rosaline being taken away from him in a sweep of smoke. She has left him troubled, and alone.…

Shakespeare wanted to give a message to the readers about the decisions people make when they are in love and the world is against them. Shakespeare wrote the play Romeo and Juliet to show just that. During Act 2 scene 2, Romeo sees Juliet on her balcony and decides to answer when Juliet basically proposed without knowing he was there. They continued to talk until morning and decided they wanted to get married despite the family's feud. Considering what the play suggests about “star-crossed lovers,” the intention of this scene was to propose the idea that when in love, people will make arrangements without thinking them through completely, take risks despite major consequences, and do anything for each other.…

Romeo and Juliet is thought of as one of the greatest and tragic love stories of all time. The couple came from families, the Montagues and the Capulets, that were both extremely well off, however, the families had been feuding for many years for a reason that is unknown to the audience, therefore no matter how much they longed to be with one another it was forbidden. In Act 2 Scene 2 lines 176-185 in the edition of the play that was edited by James N. Loehlin, we learn a lot about the type of couple Romeo and Juliet would have ended up being, if they would have been allowed to be together, through the writing and the dramatic interpretations of the play. This scene in particular has been acted out in many ways, and every director that takes…

In these scenes, they are both shown to be hasty, having only met for a moment they express their love for one another, and exchange vows of love. They then rush into a marriage the very next day. Finally, Romeo and Juliet are also shown to both be impulsive in Act 5 Scene 3, when they act on their sadness and kill themselves. This shows their impulsiveness, because they do not think of alternatives once they have made their decision. They are also hasty, in that they are quick to act on their emotions, grief and sadness, and do not think of the pain it may cause for others.…

but it is because of their willingness to give him their trust that put him in that position. Their decision to commit to one and other because of their new found love in such a short period of time is also a result of their youth. All of these endeavors Romeo and Juliet go through are all due to their adolescence and especially their death. Romeo and Juliet’s unplanned proposal to commit to one another is due to their youth. When they fall in love and decide to get married in a period of 24 hours is not a wise decision but yet understandable due to their age, they are developing teens.…

Baz Luhrmann (Director of the 1996 version of Romeo and Juliet) wrote and directed a modernised version of Romeo and Juliet with prominent themes throughout. Romeo’s heart was torn into pieces by Rosaline as she didn’t feel the love he felt for her, “she’ll not be hit with cupids arrow”. By Romeo using such depressing language to portray how upset and down he is shows the passion he had for Rosaline, “ sad hours seem long”. Romeo also uses oxymoron’s to describe how grieved and hurt he feels, “ I live dead”, O loving hate”. This reveals how confused Romeo feels as the unreciprocated love has made him feel shut down, “ I have a soul of lead”. Romeo uses negative words against himself to explain his emotions which points out to the audience that unrequited love is very heartbreaking and sorrowful and also that you shouldn’t love someone so instantly as it can result to disappointment.…
