Nature's Truth The Nature vs. Nurture is the most common debatable subject in Psychology. Like whether personality is a nature or a nurture thing. I personally think that nature is the biggest predictor of personality and behaviour. And it refers to the range of traits, capacities and limitations that each person inherits genes from his or her parents at the moment of conception such as pigmentation of the skin, eye colour, body type, diseases, athletic ability, memory and etc. But some traits have a stronger tendency to get passed down like height and weight unlike shyness and intelligence which have some tendency to get passed down.…

Identical twins are when one egg separates and becomes two. However because their genes are the same they will still lead same lives. As is the case with this article: Twins can be freaky, but we all understand why they're so disturbingly alike: Not only do they share the same DNA, but they also tend to grow up surrounded by the same people, playing with the same toys, and doing the same activities. They were most likely traumatized by the same cartoons and disappointed by the same birthday presents. It's when they don't do any of those things and still turn out exactly the same that you should be freaked out.…

“On Human Nature” Refutation David Hull’s “On Human Nature” is an article written to oppose human nature. Specifically, it challenges human evolution as the cause of universality/commonality of human traits. The case made in the article utilizes the logic behind Charles Darwin’s theory of natural selection: evolutionary changes come via the generation of variation in each generation and differential survival of individuals with different combinations of these varying traits. The central thesis of “On Human Nature” is that any common set of traits that people share is due to chance as opposed to the inner workings of evolution.…
