Comparing Two Metaphors

The poem is very much like a list of instructions to be successful and to become more mature. Each line or couplet is a different set of tips. The first stanza is about keeping your head while others are losing theirs, trusting yourself even when others are not, waiting and not being tired by it and not lying even though others are. The topics of dreaming, thinking and persistence are covered in the second stanza. The third stanza is about losing everything you have spent doing, but still being able to rebuild it. The fourth stanza is regarding talking with crowds and keeping your virtue and walking with kings and keeping your common touch. Last but not least, the last two lines wrap up the poem by exclaiming that if the following tips are
