Dogs are like children, each one is different and have completely different personalities. My family and I own two dogs, both pound dogs. They both seem to have had a similar life before they came to my family, one where they were slightly neglected and not given much attention. After having these dogs for many years, I have noticed many differences between them. Milo is more intelligent than Molly when it comes to listening and obeying commands. My family adopted Milo when he was two years old and now he is fourteen and Molly was thought to be three or four years old when we adopted her and now she is six or seven years old. Even though they look similar they act in very different ways and after observing them for many years they both think in different ways. …show more content…
Milo was only at the shelter for two days until we visited and picked him up. Ever since we adopted him, has been very intelligent but kind of naughty. Since is part border collie, he used to “herd” me, my brother and the other neighborhood children and he would also jump on counters to get to food. Milo is very smart, he listens very well and has an intelligent look in his eyes. When he looks at you it seems as if he can read your mind and understand anything you say to him. After all the trouble he was as a young dog, he started to calm down and relax until he got to be much older. During his senior years, like now, he is a wonderful dog, he just sleeps and hangs out. He seems to have put his naughty days behind him and is perfect. He listens very well and is really obedient and
