Comparing Two Close Friends In The Outsiders

Imagine if there was a huge group of friends that aren’t as close. Then in that group there's a small group of three to five people that really like to hang out with one another. They are always at ease around each other and can tell each other anything. One reason why I believe that a few close friends are better than a large group of just friends is because In a big group of not so close friends it’s hard to say what's on your mind. You feel like you might say the wrong thing. I can relate to this statement because I had a big group of friends and some I liked better than others.
