This story is about two men, Smith and Braling, and these robots called Marionettes who can take the place of you and are so realistic it is hard to know if it is you or the Marionette. Throughout the story Smith is trying to convince Braling to get a Marionette and leave his wife to go to Rio with him. Braling gives in and gets the Marionette’s business card. When Braling goes to get money for the Marionette he notices that $10,000 is missing, “Hold on here! Ten thousand dollars is missing! What’s she done with it? What’s Nettie done with it?
