In the legends “Cat and Rat: Legend of the Chinese Zodiac” and “Why Mice and Cats are Enemies” it describes why cats and mice don’t like each other. In both stories the Rat or Mouse tricks the Cat into doing something, and in the end of both the Cat hates the Rat or Mouse. In this essay I will be Comparing and Contrasting the two Legends “Cat and Rat: Legend of the Chinese Zodiac” and “Why Mice and Cats are Enemies”. In this section of my essay I will be stating the similarities of the 2 legends. In both legends the Cat is betrayed by the Rat, or Mouse.
