But later on, When Amir reads the letter of his best friend Hassan where he talks about calling Amir back to Kabul and he will find his faithful friend waiting for him. There Amir then realizes Hassan’s true friendship and in return to that when he gets beaten up by Asseef, he fulfils the fellowhip in respect of Hassan. Now he feels that it is equal to what Hassan has gone through which at that time Amir would have faced.
