The Martin Luther King Memorial is a monument located on is located in West Potomac Park in Washington, D.C. It is directly across the Tidal Basin and is dedicated to the Civil Rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who advocated rights for African Americans in the 1960’s. The Lincoln Memorial is a national monument built to honor the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It stands at the west end of the National Mall.

That’s more visitors than Yellowstone, Yosemite and Grand Canyon National Parks combined. It is a prime spot for international and out of state tourists due to the educational value of the memorials and museums and beautiful scenery. The Mall also features a variety of eating places, ranging from high dining to small food trucks lined at various street curbs. The tourists are attracted to restaurants that not only are close to the monuments and museums but can effectively tend to their needs.
