Comparing The Lorax And Yertle The Turtle

Did you know that Dr.Seuss books may be for kids ,but if you look deeper, his books have a deeper meaning in them. In the books The Lorax and Yertle the Turtle, the morals of these stories is greed.The Lorax is about a person named the Once-Ler who invents the thneed and turns into a power-hungry man. Yertle the Turtle is about a power-abusing turtle who abuses his power and gets himself overthrown.The theme for The Lorax is about an ambitious businessman that get greedy over his own wealth and power.While in the Yertle the turtle wants power and end up getting over throne because of his greed over power.
