I’m comparing the lion and the mouse to hacksaw ridge the book. Hacksaw ridge was about a fierce battle in WWII and Desmond T. Doss saving 75 men who were injured in the battle. Doss was a medic who saved so many men without firing a single bullet. He later earned the medal of honor for his bravery. The reason i’m comparing these is because Doss showed how one person could make a difference by saving all those men when he could have just left them to die. This is a more modern way of telling this fable because it is in more modern language and it is a more modern topic.
