To Compare and contrast the leadership types it is necessary to know about leadership first, that what is leadership, what is its role and how does it works, So generally Leadership may be defined as the art and process of influencing the followers to achieve the group goal effectively and efficiently. As a process the leader focusing on what leaders actually do using of non coercive influence to shape up the organization’s goals, motivate behavior toward the achievement of those goals, and help define group or organization culture and as property leadership is the set of characteristics attributed to individuals who are perceived to be leaders. A leader may be differentiated from a manager from different perspectives. Based on this conception, leadership may be defined to influence the people to get the job done and with others. They usually possess less hierarchical position even some times informal position to influence the followers. They create the vision to the subordinates so that they strive willingly and enthusiastically to ensure the common goal. There are some certain skills and qualities required by the leadership as stated below: o The leader must be able to use power effectively and in a responsible manner. o The leader must understand that the subordinates require the different forces to be motivated. o The subordinates are motivated differently at different times and different situations.
