When you hear the word “racist,’ you probably think of two things: the Ku Klux Klan, and the Nazis. Being compared to the Nazis is not something to be taken lightly, but the KKK takes pride in it. At the beginning of the KKK is was pretty much just something started for entertainment. However, over the years, new leaders realized that they, with their growing numbers, could wage a secret war against black people, and other religious groups. In the article “Ku Klux Klan” by the History.com staff, it lists “...bombings of black schools and churches and violence against black and white activists in the South...” as some of the Klan’s activities.
